Nghi Duong, OD, specializes in comprehensive primary eye care with a strong emphasis on managing ocular diseases and co-managing LASIK surgeries. She is known for providing thorough and quality medical eye care in various clinical settings.

Dr. Duong received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2005. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences, graduating cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2001. Her clinical training includes primary eye care, pediatric vision therapy, and advanced care for retinal and glaucoma conditions.

Dr. Duong’s professional experience spans several roles, including providing pre- and post-operative care for cataract and LASIK patients as well as comprehensive eye care.

Driven by a deep commitment to her patients, Dr. Duong strives to get to know her patients regarding their overall health and lifestyle to provide appropriate recommendations to meet their visual needs. She treats all her patients as individuals with utmost respect and compassion. Dr Duong takes pride in the optometry profession and has provided internship opportunities for college students interested in the field of optometry. Outside of her medical work, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and exploring the beach with her family.

Dr. Duong speaks Vietnamese and is currently seeing patients in Sorrento Valley and Escondido.
