Dr. Kellie Satterfield is a highly accomplished, board-certified, fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, bringing a wealth of experience to the San Diego area.
Dr. Satterfield’s expertise includes various aspects of oculofacial surgery, including facial cosmetics, eyelid malposition correction, blepharoplasty, ptosis repair, eyelid skin cancer treatment with MOHS reconstruction, facial trauma reconstruction, and ocular tearing management. Additionally, she offers advanced cometic treatments such as facial fat transfer, and scar revision.

Dr. Satterfield holds a Doctorate from the University of California San Diego School of Medicine, where she received numerous honors and awards, including the Merck Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence, a distinction presented to the top medical students in each graduating class.
She completed her rigorous Ophthalmology residency at the University of Washington and is a board-certified ophthalmologist accredited by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Following her residency, Dr. Satterfield dedicated two additional years to intensive training in Aesthetic Cosmetic Surgery through a competitive fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery sponsored by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Satterfield has contributed to the field with her published articles and book chapters, presentations at national and international conferences, and a commitment to staying current with cutting-edge aesthetic technologies and surgical techniques. Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Satterfield leads a vibrant personal life filled with diverse interests.
