Dr. Bokosky is a no nonsense, excellent eye doctor. When everyone else was shut down during covid, he was there. He performed cataract surgery to both eyes resulting in 20-20 near and far in both eyes 5 years later. For those who find his bedside manner a bit direct, get over it. I always have to have several pictures of my eyes for the Dr. to look at. I always find it very trying. It is hard to line up just as is necessary The staff and doctors were very professional. Dr Bokosky told me about his plans for my eye surgery and asked if I had any questions. My husband always goes with me for all eye appointments. He is very interested in my ability to see and what the treatment will be my older sister is totally blind from glaucoma. My parents as well as my brothers and sister all have glaucoma. All I can say is a huge “Thank You” Dr. Bokowsky & Team!! I had a very large cataract removed from my left eye 2 weeks ago. By the night of the 3rd day after surgery, I could see better than I have in 10 years! Everything is bright, crystal clear, I can read signs in the distance again, and the world has come alive with beautiful colors. After many minutes of review for my request for a second opinion with one of his optical techs, my actual face to face with him was pleasant and filled with the information I needed to make my decision regarding eye surgery. After her initial examination, she willingly checked my eye again in response to questions I had about my eyesight and experiencing some double vision. I switched health care plans so I could be followed by Dr. Bokosky. He provides great follow-up care yearly for a surgery 2 years ago when Dr. Bokosky replaced a lens from a previous cataract surgery by another provider. I had very poor vision from initial surgery in which a wrong lens was placed in my eye. Dr. Bokosky was able to replace the lens and restore 20/20 vision to my eye with a toric lens.
